Position:Proposals & Applications Engineering-EES Div.

Location:NaviMumbai

Educational Qualifications::B.E/ B.Tech Mechanical, Chemical, Diploma and other discipline (Electrical, Instrumentation, Production, Comp,etc.) engineers need not apply. BBA , BA, BCom also need not apply.

Desired Experience: 8 – 12 years is a must

Desired Technical Subject matter expertise:
  • Combustion Technologies,In-depth design knowledge of Oil & Gas fired burners, Heat and mass transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Stoichiometry & Thermal design Calculation, Thermal Combustors, Oxidizers, Incinerators, waste to energy solutions, Flue Gas Cleaning Technologies, Basic Instrumentation.
  • Process know how knowledge in industry verticals comprising Chemicals, Agrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Refineries, API pharma, Pulp & Paper, Metals. Be well conversant with the latest environmental compliance standards followed by the above industry verticals
Desired Commercial subject matter expertise: Estimation and costing. Desired Soft Skills: Eye for detail. Ability to understand lengthy customer technical specification which are part of the contract and ensuring compliance to the same while doing basic proposal engineering. Ability to challenge status quo with innovative out of the box ideas. Standardization wherever possible for future repeatability.Work as a team with the frontline sales person and develop a winning strategy and play an active role while implementing the same.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understanding Customer processes in the above industry verticals , and develop applications/ winning proposals in the Energy Optimization and Environmental Solutions Field, which incorporates our expertise in the field of Heat & mass Transfer, Fuel Firing Equipment, with associated Process Automation and Piping. Each application needs to have clear value propositions with a definite ROI appeal to the end customer.
  • Shall be responsible for Basis proposal Process Design, Application Engineering & Equipment Design as well as optimized cost consideration.
  • Should be conversant with best engineering practices, international codes & standards, followed by various engineering consultants in the above domain.
  • Shall have the appetite to meet customers, and have the strategic ability to develop a Win- Win proposition for the customer along with frontline sales team.

  • Responsible for building Technical preferences, by engaging with the Technical decision makers from the customer side and convincing them on our value.
  • Tracking Customer pain areas and identifying suitable business opportunities, and help senior management build strategic Business plans for the same.
